1. General Information

● Date and Time: April 25, 2025, at 4:30 PM.

● Game Mode: Spike Rush.

● Tournament Format:

○ 16 participating teams.

○ 4 groups of 4 teams each.

○ The top 2 teams from each group advance to the knockout stage.

○ Knockout stage: quarterfinals, semifinals, final.

● Map Selection:

○ Group Stage: Ascent

○ Quarterfinals: Split

○ Semifinals: Icebox

○ Final: Pearl

2. Registration and Teams

● All teams must have a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 7 (up to 2 substitutes).

● Participation by professional players is strictly prohibited.

● Registration will close on April, 22.

● All players must have a valid Riot account

● Each player may participate in only one team.

● Each team captain is responsible for inviting their teammates to the Discord server (details provided via email) and for listing their teammates' Discord IDs and Riot IDs, including substitutes, in the “Verification” channel.

● On the day of the tournament, 30 minutes before the start, each captain must confirm the lineup of 5 starting players who will play throughout the tournament (no substitutions allowed once the tournament starts).

3. Tournament Structure

● Group Stage:

○ Each team will play against the other teams in their group in a single round-robin format.

○ Group standings will be determined based on:

■ Points (win: 3 points, loss: 0 points).

■ If points are tied, round difference will be used.

■ If still tied, head-to-head results will apply.

○ The top two teams from each group will move on to the knockout stage.

● Knockout Stage:

○ Quarterfinals, semifinals, and final will be played as single elimination matches in “Spike Rush” mode.

4. Lobby creation and server selection

● The lobby must be created by the captain of the team listed on the left on the match page. That captain is responsible for inviting the opposing team and correctly configuring the lobby with the proper mode and map as outlined in the rules.

● The default game server to be used during the tournament is Frankfurt. However, teams may agree to play on a different server (e.g., Paris), subject to approval by the Tournament Officials. In case of disputes, contact a Tournament Official through an official communication channel

5. Game Rules

● The standard “Spike Rush” mode of VALORANT will be used.

● Maps will be as previously listed: Ascent (groups), Split (quarters), Icebox (semis), Pearl (final).

● The patch to be used will be the latest released by the game publisher

● Any toxic behavior, breach of VALORANT’s code of conduct, or anything that may harm the tournament’s environment is strictly prohibited.

● Players must follow admin instructions.

● If a player disconnects during a match, the round will continue without interruption. If a team leaves before the round ends, the round will be awarded to the opponents. The disconnected player may rejoin at any time.

● Players must be punctual. Excessive delays may lead to disqualification.

● The lobby must be created by the captain of the team listed on the left side of the bracket page. The captain is responsible for inviting the opposing team and choosing the map as stated in section 1. Map Selection

 

6. No show

● If a team is not ready to play within 10 minutes (e.g., no communication has occurred) after both teams are aware of the match, an admin on Discord must be contacted. Depending on the circumstances, Tournament Officials may grant extra time. Delays that hinder the schedule will lead to disqualification.

7. Score submission

 

● The captain of the winning team must submit the match result along with a screenshot as proof. This must be done in the “results” channel on Discord.

8. Game Ethics, technical issues, and Fair Play

● Match Fixing: It is strictly forbidden to attempt to alter the outcome of a match in any way. External agreements to manipulate the result, even minimally, are not allowed. Any such attempt must be reported to a tournament official immediately.

● Cheating: Cheating is strictly prohibited. Any modification of the VALORANT game client by a team or any of its members is forbidden. The use of any type of external device or program that interferes with the game is considered cheating.

● Use of Unauthorized Player / Account Sharing: Playing using another player’s account is strictly forbidden. Requesting and/or encouraging someone else to do so will result in sanctions for all involved players

● Vulgarity or Hate speech: The use of offensive, slanderous, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, or vulgar language is not permitted in any language. This also applies to social media, during events, and in any VALORANT broadcast or stream. Additionally, players must not encourage members of the public to insult or incite verbal violence against any participant in the competition.

● Violence or threats of violence: Team members are expected to resolve their disagreements respectfully, without resorting to violence, threats, or intimidation (whether physical or not).

● Discrimination or Denigration: Team members may not insult the dignity or integrity of any country or group of people through offensive, discriminatory, or denigrating words or actions. It is prohibited to discriminate or use offensive language regarding skin color, ethnic, national or social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion or any other opinion, financial status, birth or any other status, sexual orientation, or any other reason. Any discrimination will be severely punished.

● Confidentiality: The contents of Discord channels or any other correspondence with the Tournament Organizer, Tournament Officials, or Riot Games are strictly confidential. Publishing such material without prior written approval from the Tournament Organizer is prohibited.

● Technical Issues: Players are responsible for their hardware, software, and internet connection. Matches will not be rescheduled due to technical issues.

● Fair Play: Every player is required to play in accordance with the rules and the spirit of the game. Unsportsmanlike behavior, such as deliberately throwing matches, will be penalized.

● Any kind of racist, sexist, homophobic, or any other type of discriminatory insult will result in immediate disqualification.

● The organization strictly prohibits any agreements made between players or teams that aim to alter the format or the official rules of the competition.

 

9. Communication and Support

● All official communications related to the tournament will be published on the Discord server.

● Tournament administrators will be available to provide support and answer any questions.

10. Prizes

● First prize: Signed jersey

● Second prize: Jersey

● Third prize: Fan Pack

11. Final Provisions

● The tournament administrators reserve the right to modify the rules at any time, with prior notice to the participants.

● Participation in the tournament implies full acceptance of this rulebook.
